Group Studies

Our language courses focus primarily on developing self-expression skills, listening and speaking skills, encouraging our students to speak their new language. Our groups consist of a maximum of 6 to 8 people, since a small group provides every participant adequate opportunity to participate actively in the class and practice their newly acquired skills. The basic idea behind the language classes is interactive learning – listen, speak, understand and express yourself. The atmosphere during the classes is enjoyable and work orientated. Generally, no homework assignments are given, but those who are particularly eager, may always ask the teacher to give them some!

Before the course begins the language proficiency level of the students is tested, and a study group is formed of participants of a similar proficiency level.

It is necessary to bear in mind that learning a language is a long-term process: On an average 80 to 100 academic hours is required to advance one language proficiency level.
