I have been working with the Japanese language for more than eight years, including completing my Bachelor’s studies in Asian Studies at Tallinn University. At university, I passed B2 level in Japanese, in addition to which I also took a classical Japanese language course. I participated in several projects related to Japan-Estonia relations.
Since I have a great interest in the Japanese language and culture, I would be very happy to see this interest in other people as well. In addition to Japanese, I also speak of Japanese culture, history, art, Japanese society, etc., in the class. I also teach calligraphy.
I have visited Japan twice: in Tokyo and in Okinawa. These are very distinct places – language, food, way of life, etc., are very different. So, Japan is a very diverse country.
I teach Japanese in both individual and group settings, at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
