In 2002, I graduated from the Faculty of German Philology of the University of Tartu.<\/p>\n

I started working as an English and German language teacher at Aruk\u00fcla Basic School in 2002-2003; at the same time, I completed my year-long teacher training, as a result of which I acquired the profession of German and English language teacher.<\/p>\n

I worked with children and young people, was a home class teacher, and took my students for a state exam in both German and English at Tallinn Technical Gymnasium 2003-2007.<\/p>\n

I liked teaching, but I felt I could try something else. Hence the change! In the period 2007-2013, I was active in the Comenius school-level education program of the Archimedes Foundation. This work was very diverse! Events, conferences, presentations, and travel in Europe.<\/p>\n

In the autumn of 2013, I came back to Estonia and worked with adult language learners in several language schools.\u00a0I now have ten years of experience teaching adults in English, German, and Estonian. In addition, I have initiated and participated in several Erasmus + projects.<\/p>\n

I spent the first half of 2017 in Germany, where I also taught German and English to adult learners at Barbarossa Lernstudio and Focus Sprachen Sprachschule. There I was able to experience teaching without an intermediate language, i.e., I taught German without having a common language with the students. I was forced to seek help from body language and visual aids.<\/p>\n

Since August 2017, I have been involved with Multilingua Language Center, where I also started as a language teacher. \u00a0 Since the end of the last year, I have also been acting as a project manager for international cooperation at Multilingua.<\/p>\n

I really like my job as a teacher and project manager because it is very versatile – meeting interesting people, experiencing different places, and traveling.<\/p>\n
