I come from Portugal, from a small town called Set\u00fabal.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I studied art at Lisbon University of Arts. As I love foreign languages, I later qualified as a translator specializing in English Portuguese at university. The topic of my master’s thesis was how translation can be used in language learning (using Portuguese as a foreign language as an example). During that period, I also began giving one-to-one Portuguese lessons to foreign students.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I try to make my language lessons interesting, whilst ensuring that the atmosphere is relaxing. I tailor the learning process to suit each learner\u2019s individual goals and language level. I introduce learners to the various dialects and accents of the Portuguese language and prepare them for conversations, whether these relate to travelling, living, working, or simply out of curiosity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During lessons, I also compare the Portuguese language and culture with other languages and cultures.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
