Discovering Italy. Italian–English Day Camp (Ages 10–14)

Buongiorno! Give your child a summer experience filled with creativity, culture and language. Discovering Italy is a three-day Italian language camp at Multilingua Language School where children explore Italian culture through music, art and food—while naturally communicating in English.
The camp is designed as a playful and immersive learning experience, where language is used in real situations, not taught through textbooks. The main focus is on introducing Italian in a fun and accessible way, with English as the shared communication language. Learn two languages at the same time!
No previous Italian knowledge needed!
Dates: 13–15 July 2026

Price: 140 € (3 days)

Camp programme
| Day | Theme | What children will experience |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Music | Children get to know each other through interactive games and explore Italian music and artists. They discover traditional instruments, create their own musical instruments, and learn a simple song with movement and group choreography. |
| Day 2 | Art | Through playful activities, children explore colours in Italian and discover famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli. They create their own artwork, present it to the group, and take part in movement-based games inspired by sculpture. |
| Day 3 | Food | Children learn Italian food vocabulary through games and explore the culture behind pizza, pasta and gelato. They take part in a creative food-themed workshop, role-play an Italian restaurant, and enjoy a sweet visit to a gelato café in Old Town. |
Why choose this camp?
Discovering Italy offers children a chance to experience language learning in a natural and engaging way. Instead of memorising vocabulary, they use language through creativity, movement and interaction. The camp supports confidence, curiosity and communication skills, all while having fun. The main value of the camp comes from learning two languages at the same time.
