Estonian language summer camp for children

Since 2020, we have been organizing 5-day Estonian language summer camps in Tallinn city center. Our summer camps are suitable for children between 6-10 years of age whose native language is not Estonian but who wish to learn it. Under the guidance of experienced and supportive teachers Katrin Boode and Tiina Truuts, children will build a friendly connection with the Estonian language.

No grades are given, and no homework is assigned in the camp!

WHAT WE DO AT THE SUMMER CAMP?

We make learning Estonian an enjoyable experience through a variety of fun and engaging activities. These include playing board games, dancing, singing, and doing crafts. In the afternoons, we explore museums, libraries and parks in Tallinn’s city center and old town. During these outings, children have the opportunity to practice and apply their Estonian skills in real-life situations.

The language of the camp is Estonian, and even a basic vocabulary is enough to start communicating. By participating in engaging activities, we inspire children to expand their vocabulary naturally while also learning essential grammar skills.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The camp is for children between 6-10 years of age who want to learn and improve their Estonian.

WHEN IS IT?

In 2025, the camps will take place from Monday to Friday in three sessions on the following dates:

• 07.07–11.07 – with teacher Tiina Truuts
• 14.07–18.07 – with teacher Katrin Boode
• 21.07–25.07 – with teacher Tiina Truuts

Each session lasts a full week, offering children enjoyable and enriching activities together with experienced teachers.

WHERE IS IT?

The summer camp begins and ends at Multilingua Language Center at Roosikrantsi 11, with visits to different museums, libraries and playgrounds in the old town and city center.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The price for the five-day camp is 258€. VAT is included in the price. In addition, a private person can deduct from the taxable income the education expenses paid by them during the calendar year for themselves and a child under the age of 26.

• All necessary materials
• Fun lessons and activities in the morning every day
• Warm lunch and healthy snack in the afternoon
• Educational visits to different libraries and museums in the afternoon
• Walks and playtime in various parks
• Playing mini-golf at the Elamusgolfi center
