Multilingua Language Center is offering an opportunity for children to acquire and/or to develop their speaking skills in Estonian language through various playful and challenging activities.  With our friendly teacher Tiina Truuts you will become friends with the Estonian language.

We don’t give homework or grades!

OUR PURPOSE? Become friends with Estonian language!

Different languages offer a different vision for life and knowing them can expand your worldview. Though Estonian is taught in school, children don’t always find opportunities to practice it in real life.  From fairy-tales and colouring pictures to solving puzzles and dancing, we create a safe and fun environment for studying Estonian in our Kids’ Language Club, so don’t hesitate to bring your child into our Estonian classes.

HOW DO WE DO IT? We speak only Estonian!

All the activities and communication in classes is carried out in Estonian.  As we encourage kids natural need to socialize, even relatively small vocabulary is enough to make one’s self understood. During classes we encourage children to learn through different entertaining activities.

WHAT do we do in classes?

We learn Estonian through various playful and challenging activities, boardgames, crafts, songs and dances.

WHY? For children these classes provide a good basis for future Estonian lessons in school, as we strive to help create positive emotions towards learning and finding success is their language studies.

WHO IS IT FOR? We offer different groups for children. Our beginner group is meant for children between the ages 6 and 12, who have little to no knowledge of Estonian. Then we offer conversational groups for children who already have learned Estonian in kindergarten or school and we’ve divided those by class levels. We also offer debate club for high school students.

WHERE? Our Kids’ Language Club is located at Multilingua in the heart of Tallinn at Roosikrantsi Str. 11.

WHEN?

SATURDAYS

From 13:30-15:00 – no proficiency (ages 7-9 years with no previous language skills or very basic language skills)

From 15:30-17:00 – elementary proficiency (ages 8-10 years with basic or beginner language skills)

MODULE 2 – 02.11-07.12.2024 – 6 WEEKS (2.11, 9.11, 16.11, 23.11, 29.11, 7.12)

MODULE 3 – 11.01-15.02.2025 – 6 WEEKS (11.01, 18.01, 25.01, 1.02, 8.02, 15.02)

MODULE 4 – 08.03-04.05.2025 – 6 WEEKS (8.03, 15.03, 22.03, 29.03, 05.04, 12.04)

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Price for one 6 week module is 135€. VAT and materials are included. In addition, a private person can deduct from the taxable income the education expenses paid by them during the calendar year for themselves and a child under the age of 26.
