Innokenty Volkomorov

Graduated from St Petersburg (Leningrad) State University in 1988, qualified as a philologist, teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language and English. Worked for Linguaphone Institute, London, as a teacher and for BBC World Service as an editor for Russian and Ukrainian services.

After returning to Russia worked for the Consulate General of the USA in St Petersburg and for the Institute of Foreign Languages. Performed educational programs both for the private and corporate clients, including Coca Cola, Scania, Philip Morris, Fazer, Liebherr and others. After moving to Estonia in 2019 I’ve continued to teach, using various methods and programs, including the one of my own called “Logic Key” that focuses on efficiency and high performance.

I love books and music, enjoy travelling, and always do my best to improve the communicative skills of my students.

As an adult educator, I: 

• identify the needs and expectations of the study group; prepare and/or adapt the curriculum; 

• support learners in identifying and achieving their individual goals and in aligning them with the overall objectives of the training; support the learners, notice and recognise changes in the learners’ development, and respond to situations in the learning process in a supportive manner; 

• regularly collect feedback from the learners on the learning process; and inform both the learner and the contact person at Multilingua about the results of the language learning; 

• analyse and evaluate my own activities in the learning process; recognise my strengths and development needs; engage in continuous professional development; update training content and teaching methods, revising and modernizing them as needed; 

• use relevant information and communication technology (ICT) tools (e.g., interactive smartboards, online platforms such as Zoom and/or Teams, ML information system, cloud services such as Google Drive and/or OneDrive, e-learning platforms, etc.) in the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of the teaching and learning process, as well as for supporting my own professional development. 

I create materials for adult language learning, such as the Logic Key Methodology, Universal Table of English Tenses Vs. Russian Aspects and Tenses, ЛОДКА exercises, etc.
