Merike Marli

I graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in French Philology, and I have worked as a teacher for over 20 years in schools, language schools and various institutions. I teach children, young people and adults in both group and individual lessons.

I am passionate about teaching and enjoy it. I inspire and encourage learners to keep on striving and moving towards the stars! A kind word and a cheerful spirit will help along the way!

I have enough experience as a trainer to see what a learner needs and how to achieve it as quickly as possible.

As an adult educator, I: 

• identify the needs and expectations of the study group; plan the study objectives, learning outcomes, and training content;  

• provide learners with feedback; support the learners, notice and recognise changes in the learners’ development, and respond to situations in the learning process in a supportive manner; 

• analyse the learning process and assess learners’ learning outcomes;  

• analyse and evaluate my own performance in the learning process, recognise my strengths and areas for development, engage in continuous professional development, and update the learning content and teaching methods by revising and modernising them when necessary;  

• am familiar with the possibilities of digital learning and can use appropriate methods for delivering digital learning in adult education. 

I create my own study materials and tasks. I also use various textbooks and online materials.
