In 1996, through a lucky strike, I ended up learning Dutch in Holland. After my studies that were completed by examinations at the University of Zwolle, I enhanced my knowledge at Ghent University to also become acquainted with the Flemish language and cultural space.
Returning to Estonia, I began to study English at the Estonian Institute of Humanities and graduated from the University of Tallinn. My specialty was English language and literature, but I was particularly interested in translation theory and translation practice, where I could apply my Dutch language skills. I have been teaching the Dutch language since the year 2000, I also work as a tour guide, and I occasionally do translations.
I am really happy that by teaching the Dutch language I can guide the others to the new world, which has brought many good returns into my life.
