Chinese is the only extant pictographic language. Chinese is also the most used mother tongue: it will give you ability to communicate with about 1.4 billion people from mainland China and other Chinese language speaking countries. Learning Chinese characters and pronunciation might be challenging but grammar is quite simple. Chinese language is within your reach. Come and explore it!
As an adult educator, I:
- identify the needs and expectations of the study group, plan learning objectives, learning outcomes, and training content; prepare training content, select methods based on intended learning outcomes and previous feedback; create and modify learning materials based on the curriculum/training programme; cite sources and comply with copyright requirements;
- introduce the curriculum and training objectives to learners; support learners in defining and achieving their individual goals and aligning them with the overall objectives of the training; create a physical, psychological, and social environment conducive to language learning; provide learners with feedback and feedforward;
- continuously gather opinions from learners about the learning process; analyse the learning process, assess learner’s learning outcomes, and inform both the learner and the contact person at Multilingua about the results of the language learning;
- analyse and evaluate my own performance within the learning process; recognise my strengths and development needs; engage in continuous professional development; update training content and teaching methods, revising and modernizing them as needed; reflect on and analyse my professional role and practice, and actively seek solutions when challenges arise;
- am able to search for information online using a critical approach to evaluating sources; am familiar with the possibilities of digital learning and can apply appropriate methods for delivering digital learning in adult education, and know how to create, use, and share web-based materials.
