I have been working as an educator since 1988. For me, this is not just a job—it is a calling. In 2009, I earned a master’s degree in education with a specialization in art from Tallinn University, and in 2023, I obtained my adult education certification (Level 6). Over the years, my journey has been marked by continuous learning and self-development, as I deeply believe in the value of lifelong learning.
For me, the learner is always at the center of teaching—their needs, potential, and courage to learn. I consider it extremely important to create a safe, joyful, and supportive learning environment, because I believe that true learning begins only when a person feels cared for and accepted. Equally important is the formation of the group—without trust and a shared sense of unity, true learning cannot take place.
What sets my teaching apart is that I incorporate a lot of sharing and direct interaction into my lessons.
As a trainer, I strive to be honest, open, and sincere, while maintaining balance and a positive attitude. I bring joy, creativity, and humanity to the learning process. For me, every adult learner is special—I sincerely admire their dedication and courage to come and learn, despite the demands of work, family, and everyday life. This realization gives me a deep sense of responsibility and inspiration as a teacher.
I am also supported and enriched by my passion for creativity and self-expression, including an interest in acting, which helps bring spontaneity, playfulness, and vitality to the learning process.
My guiding principle is: “Learning begins in a joyful, safe, and fun environment.”
My motto: “Our lives are what our thoughts are.” (Marcus Aurelius)
