Kadri Kosk

 I graduated from Tallinn University in 2024, specializing in teaching Estonian as a foreign language and culture. Since 2022 I have been working as a private tutor of Estonian for adults and since 2023, I have been working as a teacher of Estonian in general education school.  I have been working for Multilingua since 2023.  

I enjoy learning foreign languages and I am confident that it helps me to understand my students and the characteristics of Estonian compared to other languages better. I try to be positive and encouraging in my lessons. Learning a language should be a pleasant experience, so that the learner would like to implement that knowledge in real-life situations. 

As an adult educator, I: 

• compile and adapt study materials based on the curriculum/training programme; 

• base my approach on the learners’ needs, and adapt the stages of study or working methods when necessary; 

• analyse the learning process and assess learners’ learning outcomes;  

• engage in continuous professional development and update learning content and teaching methods, revising them when necessary; 

• am familiar with the possibilities of digital learning and can use appropriate methods for delivering digital learning in adult education. 

I am a member of the Estonian Association of Teachers of Estonian as a Second Language (EKTKÕL) and participate actively in the activities of EKTKÕL.
