I have been working as a language teacher since 2000, teaching Greek to both private students and groups. I began to study Greek at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1996-1997), continuing my undergraduate studies in Theology Faculty at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1998-2002) and acquiring a Master’s degree from the University of Tallinn as a translator. Thus, I am dealing with the Greek language in depth on a daily basis as a translator and a guide, and teaching the language is a very pleasant outlet.
I want to bring my students closer to the Greek context, where I’ve spent many years, and I really appreciate and love. Therefore, no student should fear that learning the Greek language is too complicated – on the contrary, acquiring it will make you happy, because it opens the doors to the culture and life of a marvelous and very diverse country, and gives you an invaluable opportunity to get to know more about the country’s friendly people. In the classes, we put emphasis on communicative language, and on topical selections, we are flexible based on the needs of students.
