Payam Madelat

I have been teaching English to students of all ages and backgrounds, from complete beginners to advanced students with various cultural origins, in both singular and group classes since 2003, I have always tried to have a transparent thought process to help my students comprehend not only the necessities but whatever is deemed prominent for them to thrive. I enjoy encouraging my students and making learning a pleasurable and rewarding experience.

I always strive to make my courses comfortable and to provide my students opportunities to express themselves and have more speak time in order for them to gain confidence and enhance their abilities. As a teacher, I value and appreciate my students’ trust. My major role, I believe, is to establish trust, great rapport, and open dialogue to provide a pleasant yet demanding atmosphere for their progress. What I have been endeavoring to be during my tenure was not just a teacher. I would rather to be regarded as a coach who never stops backing his students in any facets he can in order to make it possible for them to fulfill their ambitions.

Here’s my motto:

“The privilege of learning is that nobody can take it away from you. The GOLDEN KEY is perseverance, continuing ’till getting it all down pat. And Don’t forget to brush up on your knowledge every now and then.”

“Payam Magelat is really a professional in teaching and not only. I owe him fully my almost-C2-level result at CAE exam.

As a teacher Payam is understanding, supportive and respectful: exactly those qualities are needed for making a successful team with a grownup full-time job student. Within a quite restricted amount of time (and I wish we had more sessions with my favourite teacher) Payam has turned my old, rusted and fractured knowledge into a sharp and whole instrument of self-expression. And I am unspeakably grateful for that!
